1. Why is the name Kickass89?
We wanted a fun and bold name that embodies everything our delicious non-alcoholic Amaro stands for. ‘Kickass’ because it will make you feel strong and vibrant and that you can accomplish anything you want, every day. And ‘89’ because our elixir contains 89 antioxidant-rich botanicals.

2. How many servings are in each bottle?
Each serving size is usually 1-2 oz, whether on its own or in a cocktail. So the 8 oz bottle will give you 4-8 servings & the 16 oz bottle will give you 8-16 servings. 

3. Is Kickass89 organic?
This is really important to us, so yes, 99.9 % of all ingredients used are organic.

4. Does Kickass89 need to be refrigerated? How long will it last?
Yes, as soon as you receive your shipment of Kickass89, please refrigerate. It will last up to 3 weeks.

5. Where do you ship?
We ship within Canada and the United States. For our American orders, please see the bottom of this page for info on Customs Delays and Duty Fees.

6. Why is the delivery so expensive?
Unfortunately, the perimeters set by Canada Post dictate that the regular parcel option is the cheapest option. We are constantly searching for a more cost-effective solution.

7. Is the elixir gluten-free?
Yup! Kickass89 is 100% gluten/dairy/nut free and vegan-compatible. We love all of you!

8. How are the bottles packaged for shipping?
Very carefully! Ensuring that your bottle(s) get to you perfectly is our #1 priority. The bottles are well cushioned in sturdy boxes. If there is a problem, however, please get in touch and we will look into it.

9. What are the ingredients in Kickass89?    
Water, proprietary blend of 89 botanicals (23%), sugar, potassium sorbate as natural preservative.

10. I would love to carry Kickass89 in my store. How can I make this happen?
Yay! We are hearing this a lot. Please contact us here with what you have in mind.

11. How are you shipping Kickass89?
We’re using Canada Post currently, and will be adding additional options in the near future.

12. Does Kickass89 contain alcohol?
Our elixir is 100% alcohol free.

13. What are adaptogens?
Adaptogens are a select group of botanicals that naturally boost the body’s ability to deal with stress. Ginseng is one of the most well known adaptogens, but a few others that can “adapt” their response according to the needs of the body are reishi, holy basil and rosemary.

14. What are botanicals?
A botanical is a plant, or part of a plant (ie: leaves, barks and roots) that is valued for it’s therapeutic properties. Some botanicals can be immunity boosting like echinacea, while others are strong antioxidants such as green tea.

15. How much can I have every day?
We recommend 2-6 oz per day. As Kickass89 is 100% alcohol free you can add an ounce or two to your morning and afternoon routine, either straight out of the fridge or splashed over ice. It’s also delicious with ice and sparkling water, and when you just want to chill with a cocktail, check out some great recipes here.

Customs Delays
Customs clearance does not adhere to a time frame and can delay the delivery.  It is sometimes possible for custom agencies to take up to or beyond a month to process some packages. Neither the shipping carrier nor Kickass89 have control over the customs procedure. 

What are Custom Fees/Duties/Taxes?
Shipments to the USA are subject to customs duties and these will vary depending on order value and other factors. This fee is your responsibility.
